Manufacturing Technician, Malta

On behalf of our client, a family-owned food manufacturer in Malta, we are looking for an Industrial Technician to join the team on a long-term basis.

Your main tasks:
- Technical maintenance and repair of machines for food production;
- Adjustment of machines for new orders;
- Optimization and adaptation of the fleet;
- Work with spare parts, production lines, and other machines;
- Ensuring compliance with existing quality standards in the production process.

You must meet the following requirements:
- qualification for an industrial mechanic or electromechanics with experience of at least 2 years in the food industry;
- dexterity in the craft, skills for detecting and correcting errors;
- desire to work in a team and on shift pattern;
- Proficiency in English is a must.

The employer provides:

• Three-year employment contract with the possibility of extension;
• Starting salary of € 300 per week gross.
• Bonuses of € 500 per year;
• Additional payment for overtime work;
• Plane ticket up to 200 euros per year;
• Transport costs of 25 euros per month;
• Accommodation costs of € 100 per month.
